The subject matter of the revisional application relates to the judgement and order dated 24.11.2022 passed by the learned Additional District and Sessions Judge, 2nd Court, Barrackpore, North 24 Parganas in Criminal Revision No. 318 of 2022 wherein the learned revisional court/sessions court dismissed the revisional application and affirmed the order dated 18.04.2022 in M. Case No. 297 of 2022 wherein the learned Magistrate was pleased to award Rs.2000/- as maintenance per month to the wife and Rs.2000/- per month to the minor daughter aggregating to a sum of Rs.4000/- per month.
Learned advocate for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been paying regularly since June, 2022 but is unable to liquidate the arrears which have accumulated since the order was passed from the date of the filing of the application. Having regard to the exigencies expressed by the petitioner, I
direct that the whole of the arrears be divided into four equal installments and on each and every 45 days one arrear installment be cleared so that whole of the arrears are cleared by 31st December, 2023.
With the aforesaid observations, the revisional application being CRR 262 of 2023 is disposed of.
Pending applications, if any, are consequently disposed of. All concerned parties are to act in terms of a copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this court. [Tirthankar Ghosh, J]
