1. The petitioner alleges that the National Housing Bank is not taking any steps on receipt of the complaint of the petitioner forwarded to it by the Centralized Receipt and Processing Centre of the Reserve Bank of India in November, 2023.

2. It appears that, though the complaint filed by the petitioner before the banking ombudsman stood closed as the same has been found to be not maintainable but the said complaint was forwarded to the National Housing Bank, Grievance Cell through electronic communication.

3. None represents the National Housing Bank.

4. Learned advocate representing Grihum Housing Finance Limited submits, upon instruction that, no complaint was ever received by the finance company from any party whatsoever.

5. The petitioner seeks for a direction upon the National Housing Bank to consider the grievance of the petitioner.

6. As the bank remains unrepresented, passing any direction upon the said authority for consideration of the petitioner's prayer will be a futile exercise.

7. It will be open for the petitioner to avail any further remedy in accordance with law, if so advised.

8. The writ petition stands disposed of.

9. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance of all the requisite formalities.
