The petitioners have prayed for quashing of the FIR of Gopal Nagar P.S. Case No. 135 of 2016 dated 18.03.2016. Records of the case reflect that the investigating agency, on conclusion of investigation, submitted charge-sheet on 31.05.2016. Amongst other Sections on which charge-sheet has been submitted, Sections 307 and 354B of the Indian Penal Code are also there.

I find from the records also that warrant, proclamation and attachment is pending against the petitioners. Having regard to the same and the fact that more than eight years have passed, I am of the view that at this belated stage, after submission of charge-sheet, no interference can be made in respect of the validity of the FIR which was filed in the year 2016.

Accordingly, the revisional application being CRR 358 of 2024 is dismissed.

Pending connected application, if any, is consequently disposed of.

All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
