By an order dated August 3, 2021, we had granted bail to the petitioner on condition of furnishing a bond of Rs. 10,000/- with two sureties of like amount each, one of whom must be local.

The present application has been taken out for modification of the said order. The petitioner says that in spite of best efforts, she has not been able to arrange for any local surety. She may be permitted to furnish registered surety.

The State in all fairness does not oppose this prayer. The prayer is allowed.

The order dated August 3, 2021 is modified to the extent that the petitioner shall be permitted to furnish registered surety instead of local surety. The other portions of the said order shall remain unaltered.

CRAN No. 1 of 2021 is, accordingly, disposed of. ( Suvra Ghosh, J. ) ( Arijit Banerjee, J. )
