1. The affidavit of service filed in court today is taken on record. Despite service none appears on behalf of the respondent no.6.

2. Mr. Nayak, learned counsel for the WBSEDCL submits that connection has already been granted to the respondent no.6, by maintaining the norms.

3. The petitioner has raised a specific question as to how the connection could be granted in spite of the objection raised by the petitioner. This court directs that the Assistant Engineer/Station Manager, Galsi Customer Care Centre, WBSEDCL, Purba Bardhaman, to dispose of the complaint of the petitioner dated 10.01.2024, in accordance with law.

4. A hearing shall be given to the petitioner and the respondent no.6 and a reasoned order shall be passed. The reasoned order shall indicate whether the connection to the respondent no.6 was given upon compliance of all necessary formalities, and

also whether the objection of the petitioner was justified. If the petitioner's objection appears to be justified, remedial measures shall be adopted.

5. The entire exercise shall be completed within a period of three months from the date of communication of this order.

6. There shall be no order as to costs.

7. Parties are directed to act on the basis of the server copy of this order.
