Mr. Argha Banerjee ...for the petitioner The Inspector-in-Charge, Serampore Police Station has filed a report dated 12.01.2023. The same is taken on record.

It appears from the report that the father of the petitioner sold land bearing Dag No. 8419 that was in the name of the petitioner's late mother Malati Nandi to Dilip Som and Jugol Das. The land has been mutated. There are also civil suits being T.S. No. 5 of 2002, T.S. No. 1 of 2009 and T.S. No. 343 of 2016, now pending before the learned Civil Court at Serampore in respect of the property. The police have registered FIR on the petitioner's complaint being No. 295 of 2015 dated June 23, 2015. After the investigation, a final report of mistake of fact being Serampore Police Station Case No. RMF 298 of 2016 dated July 31, 2015 has been filed.

This Court sees no inaction on the part of the Serampore Police.

In view of the above, the instant writ petition shall stand disposed of without any order.

In view of the above, connected applications, if any, shall also disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
