Learned advocate appearing for the petitioners submit that other co-accused were granted bail by the jurisdictional Court. According to him, the principal accused is a juvenile and was granted bail by the Juvenile Justice Board. He submits that the petitioners were falsely implicated.

Learned advocate appearing for the State draws the attention of the Court to the statements recorded under Section 164 of the Criminal Procedure Code of the victim. He submits that one month prior to the present incident another incident occurred where, the petitioners were involved in kidnapping the victim.

Considering the gravity of the offence and considering the involvement of the petitioners therein and

considering the statements recorded under Section 164 of the Criminal Procedure Code of the victim which implicates the petitioners, we are not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners.

Prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioners is rejected.

CRM (A) 553 of 2022 is dismissed.
