Learned advocate appearing for the petitioners submits that, there is a previous police complaint filed by the petitioners. The police filed charge-sheet and, therefore, custodial interrogation of the petitioners are not required. The petitioners were not named before the doctors treating the injury. Learned advocate appearing for the State draws the attention of the Court to the injury report and to the nature of injury suffered. He draws the attention of the Court to the statement recorded under Section 161 of the Code of Criminal Procedure (Cr.P.C.).

Considering the materials in the case diary, the gravity of the offence and the involvement of the petitioners therein, we are unable to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners.

Accordingly, prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioners is rejected and the application being CRM (A) 554 of 2022 is dismissed.
