And In Re : Avik Mitra ...... petitioner Mr. Debasish Roy Mr. Rudradipta Nandy Mr. Indranath Mitra Ms. Debadrita Mondal .....for the petitioner Mr. Sudip Ghosh Mr. Apurba Kumar Dutta ....for the State Petitioner seeks bail.

Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that, the petitioner is in custody for 60 days. He submits that, the petitioner is ready and willing to deposit the entire sum of Rs.4,50,000/-. The petitioner was falsely implicated. Learned advocate appearing for the State submits that, the petitioner was shown to be an employee of the Bankura Judgship falsely and public money was transferred to the bank account of the petitioner by the treasury on the basis of such false claim.

Considering the gravity of the offence and the complicity of the petitioner therein, we are unable to grant bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected and the application being CRM(DB) 335 of 2022 is dismissed. (Debangsu Basak, J.) (Bibhas Ranjan De, J.)
