Petitioners pray for anticipatory bail.

Learned Advocate appearing for the petitioners submits that the petitioners were falsely implicated. Learned Advocate appearing for the State draws the attention of the Court to the materials in the case diary. In an incident of assault, number of persons received injuries. One of such person received fracture injuries. Statements recorded under Section 161 of the Code of Criminal Procedure suggest that, sharp cutting weapon and iron rods were used in the incident of assault.

Considering the gravity of the offence and the involvement of the petitioners therein, we are unable to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners.

Accordingly, the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioners is rejected.

C.R.M. (A) 296 of 2024 is dismissed.
