1. The affidavit of service as filed be kept with the record.

2. The Notification no. OG/WBUHS/2026/0012 dated 02.01.2026 had been stayed by an order dated 13.01.2026 passed in WPA 605 of 2026. The aforestated writ-petition related to the Notification mentioned hereinbefore only.

3. This, as rightly pointed out by Mr. Sanyal, learned Sr. Advocate, appearing for the petitioner, the steps taken by the authorities staying all Notifications for departmental promotion dated 02.01.2026 is uncalled for and is clearly beyond the order dated 13.01.2026.

4. The concerned authorities are directed to take note that the stay order pertains only to the Notification No. OG/WBUHS/2026/0012 dated 02.01.2026 and no other Notifications of the same date.

5. The concerned authority is further directed to afford an opportunity to the concerned persons in respect

6. This is required as the authorities acted under a misconception that all Notifications dated 02.01.2026 had been stayed.

7. With this clarification as afore-stated, WPA 1942 of 2026 is disposed of. No order as to costs.
