Learned Advocate representing the petitioners submits that prayer is made in this writ petition for appointment of the petitioners in connection with 1st State Level Selection Test, 2016 for classes IX and X. It is also submitted that entire selection process, that is, 1st State Level Selection Test, 2016 for Classes IX, X and XI, XII has been set aside by the Hon'ble Supreme Court vide judgment dated 3rd April, 2025, passed in Civil Appeal arising out of Special Leave Petition (Civil) No. 9586 of 2024 (State of West Bengal v. Baisakhi Bhattacharya (Chatterjee) & Ors.).

Since entire selection process has been declared void, no relief can be granted to the petitioners. The writ petition being WPA/1895/2024 stands dismissed.
