Ms. Munmun Tewary ... for the State-respondent(s) The petitioner complains that she along with her daughter-in-law stays at the residence at Madhyamgram, wherein, one Sub-Inspector, namely, Dipankar Ghosh, conducted raid without any documents and without the aid and assistance of any lady police officer in a team which raided the house.

No information was divulged to the petitioner, as such, she informed the Superintendent of Police, Barasat Police District as well as the Inspector-in-charge of Madhyamgram police station.

State has submitted a report,

which reflects that a complaint was received from a neighbor, wherein, from the CCTV footages, the petitioner's son, namely, Sajal Barui was found to be involved in certain activities of nuisance which included damaging of the CCTV camera as well as some empty plastic bottles being dumped at the residence of the complainant.

In view of the Sub-Inspector - Dipankar Ghosh's visiting the premises, there was a grievance expressed but the same, according to the report, was on the basis of instructions of the Inspector-incharge of Madhyamgram Police Station. To that effect, one G.D. Entry has also been recorded at the police station.

In view of the police authorities having taken steps pursuant to the information received and the materials available at the police station, I am of the view that until and unless there are specific allegations, mere bald accusations

do not invite this court to interfere with the action of the police authorities.

It has been informed by the learned advocate for the petitioner that he has received a reply to the RTI application which was sent to the Superintendent of Police.

In view of the police authorities having replied to the queries of the petitioner, I am of the opinion that no direction is required to be passed in the present writ petition.

With the aforesaid observations, WPA 2163 of 2025 is disposed of.

Pending application(s), if any, is also disposed of.
