This is a contempt application under the Contempt of Court's Act, 1971 as well as under Article 215 of the Constitution of India filed by the petitioner on 14th January 2000.

By filing the instant application, the petitioner sought for punishment of the contemnors / State respondents for alleged violation of the order dated 14th July 1999 passed by a learned Single Bench in W.P. 9786 (W) of 1999. Since, filing of the application, none moved for the petitioner to get the application disposed of.

I feel that the petitioner is no more interested to proceed with the contempt application on hand. Therefore, the contempt application is dismissed for non-appearance of the petitioner.

Let this contempt application along with the order passed today be tagged with the main file by the concerned department.
