Heard learned Advocates appearing for the parties. By this writ petition, petitioner has challenged the impugned order dated 30th August, 2019 passed by the Additional Secretary to the Government of India, Ministry of Finance rejecting the revisional application of the petitioner by confirming the order of the Appellate Authority being the Commissioner of Customs(Appeals) dated 3rd February, 2019 who upheld the impugned order in original dated 10th September, passed by the Adjudicating Authority.

I have perused the aforesaid impugned order of the Revisional Authority, which according to me is supported by cogent reasons and elaborate discussion. Furthermore, the issued involved in this writ petition arising out of the original adjudication order which was confirmed by the two authorities below i.e.

Commissioner of Customs(Appeals) and Revisional Authority is relating to the disputed question of ownership of the seized dollars in question which cannot be decided by this court in exercise of its Constitutional Writ Jurisdiction under Article 226 of the Constitution of India.

In view of the discussion made above, this writ petition being WPA 1226 of 2020 is dismissed. ( Md. Nizamuddin, J. )
