On the last occasion, i.e., September 29, 2023, learned Advocate for the petitioner had obtained adjournment for obtaining instructions in view of the fact that this is a very old matter.

Today, learned Advocate for the petitioner tells us that he has written a letter to the petitioner which has been delivered as would appear from the track report. However, he has not received any reply.

Obviously, the petitioner is not interested to proceed with this mater any further.

Accordingly, CPAN 40 of 2007 is dismissed.

Interim order, if any, stands vacated.

Let the letter written by learned Advocate for the petitioner to the petitioner along with the track report be kept with the records.
