And In Re : Kartick Mondal @ Kartik Mondal ...... petitioner Mr. Manas Kumar Das ...for the petitioner Mr. Debasish Roy, Ld. P.P., ...for the State Statement made in the application for anticipatory bail discloses that on August 31, 2023, the defacto-complainant consumed phenyl.

The present police complaint is dated October 27, 2023. The case diary contains statement of the neighbours which implicated the petitioner who is the husband of the defacto-complainant, in torturing and demanding dowry from the defacto-complainant.

Materials in the case diary suggest that an incident of assault took place. Defacto-complainant suffered injuries. Considering the materials in the case diary, gravity of the offence and the involvement of the petitioner therein, we are

unable to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner and the prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected.
