Mr. Prasun Mukherjee Ms. Sneha Srivastava ..for the petitioner Mr. Vivekananda Bose Mr. Arkadipta Sengupta ..for the State Affidavit of service filed by the petitioner and copy of the report filed by the State are taken on record. The petitioner alleges police inaction.

It appears from the report that pursuant to the complaint lodged by the petitioner, specific case has been registered. Charge sheet has been submitted upon completion of investigation. The accused/private respondent was in custody in connection with another case and has been shown as arrested in the present case. Three mobile phones used by the accused have been seized and sent for forensic examination.

In view of the above, this Court is inclined to hold that the grievance of the petitioner has been redressed. No fruitful purpose shall be served in keeping the writ petition pending. The same is accordingly disposed of. There shall, however, be no order as to costs. Since no affidavit is invited, the allegations contained in the writ petition are deemed not to have been admitted.
