REJECTED C.R.M.(A) 310 of 2024 In Re:- In Re:- An application for anticipatory bail under Section 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure in connection with Ratua Police Station Case No. 453 dated 06.08.2023 under Section 406/420/468/471/120B of the Indian Penal Code.

Police case revolves around an investigation relating to the co-accused and the petitioner extracting money from the members of the public on promise of high return. Money extracted from the public were not returned to such public. Considering the gravity of the offence and the involvement of the petitioner therein, we are unable to grant anticipatory bail to any of the petitioner and the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is rejected.
