1. The petitioner is aggrieved by the inaction on part of the Registrar of Assurances, Kolkata in forwarding the genuineness certificate in respect of a deed which was registered here in Kolkata as per the request of the District Sub Registrar, Patna.

2. Learned advocate representing the State respondents relies upon the communication made by the Additional District Sub Registrar (Records), office of the Registrar of Assurances, Kolkata dated 17th March, 2025 which mentions that the office received a letter for verification report of a document for the year 1995 from the District Sub Registrar, Patna. The verification report was prepared and submitted via electronic mail on 11th October, 2023 but there was an error in the said report which was later on rectified and resubmitted to the District Sub Registrar, Patna through E-mail on 14th August, 2024.

3. A copy of the verification report has been handed over in Court. The same is retained with the

records. A copy of the same has already been served on the learned advocate representing the petitioner in Court today.

4. On issuance of the genuineness certificate the grievance of the petitioner appears to have been redressed. The writ petition, accordingly, stands disposed of.

5. Urgent certified photocopy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties expeditiously on compliance of usual legal formalities.
