Learned counsels for the petitioner and the private opposite party submit that dispute between the parties has been amicably settled and private opposite party is not willing to proceed with the matter any further. An affidavit is filed by the private opposite party in this regard which is taken on record. In view of the above, allowing the proceeding to continue shall be a futile exercise.

Proceedings in connection with the G.R.Case No. 4265 of 2024 pending before the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Howrah be quashed.

The petitioner be set at liberty at once and discharged from his bail bonds.

The criminal revisional application being CRR No. 424 of 2025 is allowed.
