We have considered the materials on record.

Statements of witnesses disclose petitioner's participation in the assault. A number of persons had suffered injuries. Some of them had to be hospitalized.

Though co-accused have been granted regular bail, in view of the nature of crime resulting injuries on multiple persons, we are not inclined to grant pre-arrest bail to the petitioner. 3.

Accordingly, the application for anticipatory bail is, thus, rejected.
