It is further submitted petitioner has been falsely implicated in the instant case. Investigation is complete. Learned Advocate for the State opposes the prayer for bail. We have considered the materials on record. Statements of witnesses show petitioner participated in the assault. Number of persons were injured, one of whom died. In view of the aforesaid materials and gravity of the offence, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner at this stage.

The application for bail is thus rejected.
