Ms. Sujata Das, Learned Advocate, who ordinarily appears for the State, is directed to represent the State. Her appointment may be regularised by the concerned authority. The records reflect that the charge-sheet in connection with the aforesaid case was filed in the year 2020 and the accused person has been evading the process of law as the last of the order reflects that he is yet to receive the copy after submission of the charge-sheet. Having regard to the fact that the complainant is suffering for the last five years, the Learned Magistrate would take steps by fixing at least one date in every two months so that the trial should be completed within a reasonable period of time.
With the aforesaid observation, CRR 289 of 2023 is disposed of. Pending application(s), if any, is also disposed of.
