WPA 1874 of 2022 Pratima Jana vs.

The State of West Bengal & Ors.

Mr. Uttam Kumar Bhattacharyya, Mr. Kaustav Mitra.

... for the petitioner Today, nobody for the State has appeared before this Court in this matter.

The Assistant Inspector of Schools (S.E.) has appeared in person with a report as was directed on the last occasion by this Court enclosing therein a filled up proforma giving the data in respect of the petitioner. This profoma is not being used for adjudication. The petitioner may take help of this proforma.

However, the Assistant Inspector of Schools (S.E.), Mr. Surapati Pradhan has submitted that they need some time to take steps for sending the final pension paper of the petitioner to the Director of Pension, Provident Fund and Group Insurance. He has prayed for eight weeks time which is not granted to the concerned District Inspector of Schools and office. It is given six weeks time to send all the papers.

The Director of Pension, Provident Fund and Group Insurance is directed to take steps within a period of six weeks thereafter, so that the pension can be paid to the petitioner and she gets the Pension Payment Order.

With the above observation and direction, this writ application is disposed of. (Abhijit Gangopadhyay, J.)
