The West Bengal Central School Service Commission by a notice bearing Memo No.

689/6723/CSSC/ESTT/2020 dated December 28, 2020 invited online application from the eligible candidates for the appointment in the post of Assistant Teachers in Upper Primary Level of Schools ( Except Work Education and Physical Education).

The petitioner is alleging that due to illness she could not upload her educational testimonials within the time specified in the said notice. She is praying a further chance to upload such documents.

Dr. Patra learned counsel for the commission submits that the candidates who failed to upload their educational testimonials in response to the aforesaid notice were given further chance but the petitioner did not avail the said opportunity also as such at this stage

the petitioner is entitled the further opportunity to upload her educational qualification.

The petitioner is also praying that her application under the Right to Information Act, 2005 dated November 01, 2022 praying the disclosure of her number in TET 2015 may be directed to be disposed of. Dr. Patra submits that the said prayer of the petitioner can be considered.

Heard learned counsel for the parties, perused the materials-on-record.

The prayer of the petitioner for an opportunity to upload her educational testimonials does not deserve any consideration as the selection process has substantially progressed and the petitioner has failed to avail the opportunities provided to the candidates in this regard.

However, the Commission is directed to dispose of the application of the petitioner under the provision of Right to Information Act, 2005 in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of communication of this order and to communicate its decision to the petitioner.

W.P.A. 2040 of 2023 is disposed of with the above terms without any order as to costs.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties subject to compliance with all requisite formalities.
