For the Petitioner Since the innocuous prayer of the petitioner is for expeditious disposal of Complaint Case no. 528 of 2020 pending before the learned Judicial Magistrate, 2nd Court, Barasat, North 24 Parganas, the matter may be taken up for consideration without service of notice upon the opposite party. The opposite party shall not be prejudiced by an order directing expeditious disposal of the case.

This Court is informed that the case is pending before the learned trial Court since 2020 and warrant of arrest has been issued against the opposite party vide order dated 4th July, 2024. In view of the above, learned trial Court is directed to take steps for securing attendance of the opposite party before the learned trial Court and take the proceeding to its logical conclusion as expeditiously as possible without granting any unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties, in accordance with law.

C.R.R. 413 of 2025 is disposed of.
