1. The affidavit of service filed in Court today is taken on record.

2. In spite of taking directions to file affidavits, the affidavits have not been filed.

3. Mr. Tapas Kumar Dey, learned Advocate for the State, submits that the representation of the petitioners dated September 6, 2024 will be considered and disposed of by the respondent no. 4 within a stipulated time, if so directed by this Hon'ble Court.

4. In view of such submissions, I direct the respondent no. 4 to consider the representation of the petitioners dated September 6, 2024 upon adequate prior notice to the petitioners and after giving them hearing, by February 28, 2026.

5. The respondent no. 4 will communicate the order passed in the hearing to the petitioners by March 15, 2026.

6. With the afore-stated directions, the writ petition is

disposed of.

7. There shall, however, be no order as to costs.

8. The petitioners will be at liberty to produce the requisite papers and documents to facilitate the process of consideration of the representations by the respondent no. 4 at the hearing.

9. Since the State respondents have not used any affidavits, the allegation made in the writ petition is deemed to be not admitted.

10. Urgent Photostat certified copy of the order, if applied for, be given to the parties on compliance of all necessary legal formalities.
