The petitioner was functioning under the Raigunj Police Station. By an order dated November 30, 2019 passed by the learned Additional District and Sessions Judge, Fast Track Court (1st), Raiganj, Uttar Dinajpur, the petitioner has been acquitted.

The petitioner has made a representation to respondent no. 5, S.P., Uttar Dinajpur on December 3, which has not been considered.

In those circumstances, the respondent no. 5 shall consider and dispose of the

petitioner's representation for re-engagement, after verifying as to whether there has been any appeal against the order of acquittal and in accordance with the relevant Rules applicable to the petitioner.

Let such consideration be effected within a period of two months from the date of communication of a copy of this order.

The order of the S.P.

shall be communicated to the petitioner within 7 days thereof.

With the aforesaid observations, the instant writ petition is disposed of.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties upon compliance of all formalities.
