Heard learned counsels for the parties.

The innocuous prayer of the petitioner is for expeditious disposal of the Ejectment Suit being No. 23 of 2019 pending before the learned Civil Judge (Senior Division) 10th Court, Alipore, South 24 Parganas along with the applications filed under Sections 7(1), 7(2) and 7(3) of the West Bengal Premises Tenancy Act, 1997.

The suit is pending since 2019 and the applications under Sections 7(1), 7(2) and 7(3) of the Act of 1997 were filed on 12th July, 2017.

In view of the above, the application, being C.O. no. 278 of 2024 is disposed of directing the learned Civil Judge (Senior Division), 10th Court, Alipore to dispose of the applications pending before him under Sections 7(1), 7(2) and 7(3) of the Act of 1997 in Ejectment Suit no. 23 of 2019 within two months from the next date of hearing fixed before him. The learned Court is further directed to dispose of the Ejectment Suit within one year from the date of

disposal of the applications under Sections 7(1), 7(2) and 7(3) of the Act of 1997.

There shall however, be no order as to costs. Urgent certified website copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties upon compliance of all necessary formalities.
