Liberty is granted to the learned advocate for the applicant no.1 to amend the cause title of the revisional application. Report submitted by Officer in Charge Shakespeare Sarani Police Station be kept with the record.
Report also enclosed the statement of the opposite party no.1 namely, Subhas Agarwal, the letter has also been enclosed which was addressed by the complainant to the Officer in Charge, Shakesapeare Sarani Police Station, I find that the report has been prepared in compliance of the earlier date on 28.4.2022. Report reflects that there has been an amicable settlement between the parties and the complainant is not willing to proceed with the complaint case being CS 62493 of 2017.
Having regard to the nature of the allegations and the issues of dispute, I am of the opinion that the same relate to private and personal dispute and no public policy is involved. Accordingly, further continuance of complaint case C.S.62498 of 2017 pending before the Learned Metropolitan Magistrate, 19th Court, Kolkata is hereby quashed.
Accordingly, CRAN 7 of 2018 along with CRR 153 of 2018 is allowed.
All pending connected applications, if any, are consequently disposed of.
Interim order, if any, is made absolute.
