Mr. Ayaskanta Ghosh Mr. Partha Ghosh Ms. Dishani Dutta ....for the petitioners Mr. Avishek Guha Ms. Shilpa Das ....for the opposite parties In Re:- CAN 1 of 2025 This is an application for extension of time to comply with the order directing the petitioner to make the pre-deposit of 25% of Rs.15.97 Crore.

The prayer for extension is vehemently opposed by the learned advocate for the opposite party/Bank. He submits that by an order dated April 22, 2025, this Court granted them 4 weeks time from the date of receipt of the server copy of this order to make such pre-deposit but till date the same has not been deposited.

However, considering the ground stated in the application for extension of time to comply with the said order, this Court is inclined to extend the time for a limited period. The time limit for making such predeposit as indicated in the order dated April 22, 2025 is extended till September 1, 2025.

The order dated April 22, 2025 is modified only to the extent as indicated hereinbefore. The other portion of the said order shall remain unaltered.

Accordingly, CAN 1 of 2025 stands disposed of. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
