Ms. Alvina Bakhteyar ....for the petitioners Ms. Sana Naaz ....for the State Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioners submits that the petitioners were granted anticipatory bail by this Court on 27.02.2026 in CRM (A) 416 of 2026, inter alia, on the condition to furnishing a bond of Rs. 10, 000/- each with two sureties of like amount each, one of whom must be local. The petitioners were also directed to surrender before the learned Jurisdictional Court and pray for bail within four weeks from such date. However, the petitioners could not arrange for local surety. The petitioners are too poor to furnish a bond of such amount.

Heard the learned counsel for the State.

In view of the above and in the interest of justice, the conditions for grant of anticipatory bail are relaxed to the following extent :-

1) The petitioners shall be released on bail upon furnishing a bond of 5,000/- each with two sureties of like amount to the satisfaction of the Arresting Officer. Instead of local sureties, the petitioners shall be at liberty of furnishing registered sureties.

2) The time to surrender before the learned Jurisdictional Court is extended by three weeks.

3) The other conditions shall remain the same. With these observations and directions, CRAN 1 of 2026 is disposed of.
