Petitioner is the mother-in-law of the victim lady. It is contended she has been falsely implicated. Accordingly, she prays for anticipatory bail.

Learned Advocate for the State opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail.

We have considered the materials on record. Statements of witnesses show the husband as well as in-laws including the petitioner had subjected the victim to torture over demand of dowry. Victim committed suicide.

In view of the aforesaid facts, we are not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is rejected.
