Affidavit-of-service is taken on record. Despite service, none appears on behalf of the respondents. The writ petition is devoid of any material particulars. As such, the Court does not think it fit to entertain this writ petition.

The petitioner submits that although the authorities of Hizole Gram Panchayat had intimated the petitioner that the Member Secretary of District Water and Sanitisation Mission and Executive Engineer, Murshidabad Division, Public Health Engineering Department, had decided to approve the resolution of the Hizole Gram Panchayat and implement the scheme for supplying arsenic free drinking water in the affected places under Kandi Block, no such approval is available on record. Moreover, the allegation of the petitioner that the scheme is being implemented in the neighbouring villages, is also not supported by necessary documents.

Under such circumstances, this Court cannot pass any mandatory orders, as prayed for by the petitioner. However, it appears that the petitioner has already approached the Member Secretary of District Water and Sanitisation Mission and Executive Engineer, Murshidabad Division, Public Health Engineering Department, by filing a representation dated January 3, 2022 with his grievances. Such representation shall be disposed of in accordance with law. A reasoned order shall be passed and communicated to the petitioner.

The entire exercise shall be completed within a period of three months from the date of communication of this order.

The petitioner is directed to serve a copy of the writ petition along with a server copy of this order upon the Member Secretary of District Water and Sanitisation Mission and Executive Engineer, Murshidabad Division, Public Health Engineering Department.

The writ petition is, thus, disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.

Parties are to act on the basis of the server copy of this order.
