Petitioner is aggrieved as his complaint which was addressed to the Officer-in-Charge, Kolaghat Police Station was not acted upon.

Learned advocate for the State has submitted a report which reflects that a further specific information was furnished by the petitioner.

Accordingly, Kolaghat P.S. Case No. 93 of 2024 dated 06.02.2024 was registered for investigation and the investigating agency on conclusion of investigation submitted charge-sheet on or about 04.03.2024. Having considered that the police authorities have taken steps at the relevant point of time. I do not find any scope to interfere at this stage. However, if the petitioner is dissatisfied regarding the manner in which the investigation has been conducted, the petitioner would be at liberty to take out an appropriate application under Section 173(8) Cr.P.C. before the jurisdictional Court.

With the aforesaid observations, the instant writ petition being WPA 2009 of 2024 is disposed of. Report so submitted be kept with the record.

Copy of the report be handed over to the learned advocate appearing for the petitioner.
