The police case is dated November 13, 2022.

Apart from the issue of long absconsion, we find that there are statements of eye-witnesses which implicate the petitioner amongst others in house trespass as also setting the house on fire.

In such circumstances, we are unable to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is rejected.

C.R.M. (A) 355 of 2024 is dismissed.
