The petitioner seeks one time pension on account of death of his father, late Raghunath De, an Ex Group-"D" employee of Asadtala Binode Vidyapith (H.S.), District - Purba Medinipur.

The petitioner's father retired on 28th February, 1960. The petitioner's mother died on 3rd April, 2012. The petitioner shall, therefore, be entitled to make a comprehensive representation to the District Inspector of Schools (SE), Tamluk, Purba Medinipur for life time arrear of pension on account of Late Raghunath De within a period of fifteen days from date.

Upon receipt of the said representation, the District Inspector of Schools (SE), Tamluk, Purba Medinipur, shall verify the records of Late Raghunath De, applying all relevant Circulars towards pension of persons, who retired till 1981 and take a decision in the matter within a period of four months from date.

The petitioner or his legal representatives may be heard by the District Inspector of Schools (SE), Tamluk, Purba Medinipur.

A reasoned order may be passed and communicated to the petitioner within a week thereof. With the aforesaid directions, the instant writ petition shall stand disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.
