By this writ petition, the writ petitioner prayed for an direction upon the respondent/authority to allow him to participate in the interview scheduled to be held on 21.01.2007 for filling up of the subject post.

By efflux of time the writ petition has become infructuous. In view thereof, the writ petition is disposed of without any order.

However, there shall be no order as to costs. Interim order, if any, stands vacated.
