Case of the prosecution is that a minor was made to convert and marry. The petitioner before us was a witness to such marriage.

A minor was converted and given in marriage. Petitioner was a witness to such marriage. There is an issue of long absconsion of the petitioner.

Considering the long absconsion of the petitioner, gravity of the offence and the involvement of the petitioner therein, we are unable to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner and the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is rejected.
