The writ petitioners are aggrieved that they have been wrongly arrested by the police in connection with a complaint of fraud. The petitioners are stated to have obtained a gold loan by painting ornaments that are made of gold.

This Court does not find any merit of the petitioners' application when they were otherwise enlarged on bail.

The instructions of the Officer-in-charge, Belghoria Police Station, Barrackpore Police Commissionerate dated 27th February, 2021 addressed to the Government Pleader, High Court, Calcutta is taken on record.

With the aforesaid observations, the instant writ petition shall stand disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.
