Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody in excess of 704 days. The petitioner was falsely implicated.

Learned advocate appearing for the State draws the attention of the Court to the statements recorded under Section 164 of the Criminal Procedure Code.

Considering the statements of the victim recorded under Section 164 of the Criminal Procedure Code implicating the petitioner and considering the gravity of the offence and the involvement of the petitioner and considering the fact that there is hardly any change in circumstances subsequent to the earlier order of rejection, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

Prayer for bail is rejected.

This application for bail is dismissed.
