The proforma respondents are two sons of the petitioners. The respondent nos. 4 and 5 are, the third son and his wife. The writ petition appears to have been filed at the instance of the proforma respondents. The petitioners have been set up to evoke sympathy from this Court that senior citizens have been tortured.

The dispute between the sons of the writ petitioners cannot be the subject matter of a Senior Citizen Harrassment Proceeding.

The writ petition is dismissed with costs payable by the petitioners at a sum of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand Only) each to the Malda Police Station and the respondent nos. 4 and 5, respectively. W.P.A. 2096 of 2023 is, accordingly, disposed of.

Urgent certified photostat copy of this order, if applied for, shall be given to the parties as expeditiously as possible on compliance with all the necessary formalities.
