Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that petitioner is in custody for 2 years and 1 month and the evidence of one of the victim is over.

Learned advocate for the State has submitted a report which reflects service has been effected. Let the same be kept with the record.

It has been submitted on behalf of the State while opposing bail application that prosecution intends to examine 19 witnesses in support of its case and till date 2 witnesses have been examined. The prosecution would complete the examination, at least of the minor victim's within a reasonable

period of time. Steps be taken to fix regular schedule to take the trial of the case to its logical conclusion. I have taken into account the heinousness of the offence which involves charges under the POCSO Act, procuring minor girls for the purposes of prostitution under the relevant provisions of the Indian Penal Code and also the provisions of Immoral Trafficking Prevention Act. Having regard to the same and that the trial is in progress and the other minor victims are yet to be examined, at this stage, I am not inclined to release the petitioner on bail.

Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner in CRM(M) 322 of 2026 is dismissed.
