There was continuous torture inflicted upon the victim by the inmates of the matrimonial home which includes amongst others the present petitioner and the statement of witness also corroborates that the death was homicidal. We have considered the post-mortem report, which prima facie shows the evidence of external injury.

Considering the above, we are not inclined to release the petitioner on anticipatory bail As such, the prayer for anticipatory bail is rejected. CRM 942 of 2021 is accordingly dismisses.
