1. The affidavit of service filed today is taken on record.

2. The petitioner is the daughter of a former employee in the Rajpur Vidyanidhi High School, who expired sometime in July 2000. The erstwhile employee was a non-teaching Group-D staff and the petitioner as his legal heir and representative claims entitlement to the pensionary benefits of the erstwhile employee.

3. According to the petitioner, the other children are disentitled and she alone is entitled to the family pension as she is a widowed daughter of the erstwhile employee.

4. The instruction from the respondent no. 4, a copy whereof has been produced is kept on record, it appears that the respondent no. 4 has already sought for the requisite papers from the respondent no. 6 insofar as the payment of family pension to the petitioner is concerned.

5. In view thereof, I direct the respondent no. 6 to forward the requisite papers by April 20, 2026 to the respondent no. 4. The respondent no. 4 will thereafter, upon scrutiny, forward the requisite papers, if found eligible to the respondent no. 3 by May 15, 2026.

6. The respondent no. 3 is directed to consider the question of eligibility of the petitioner to receipt the family pension as well as the quantum thereof. Such decision will be taken by June 30, 2026 and will be intimated to the petitioner within a week therefrom. If found eligible, the requisite Pension Payment Order in favour of the petitioner will be issued by July 15, 2026.

7. The respondent no. 7 is directed to issue the requisite legal heir certificate in favour of the petitioner, upon consideration of all documents and in accordance with law by March 31, 2026.

8. With the afore-stated directions, the writ petition is disposed of.

9. There shall, however, be no order as to costs.

10. The petitioner will communicate a duly downloaded copy of this order from the official website of this Hon'ble Court to the authorities concerned by March 27, 2027.
