The petitioner seeks modification of the order dated 18th March, 2025 since she is in custody for a considerable period of time and is unable to furnish bond due to unavailability of local surety as directed by this Court.

In view of the fact that the petitioner is still languishing in custody despite being granted bail as she is unable to furnish local surety, the order dated 18th March, 2025 is modified to the extent that the petitioner shall be released on bail upon furnishing of bond of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only), with two registered sureties of like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Alipore.

The remaining portion of the order shall remain unaltered. Urgent certified website copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
