Petitioner approached this Court earlier by way of 26.03.2025 Court No. 35 Item No.120 Rakib WPA 17949 of 2023 wherein by an order dated 03.10.2023 a Coordinate Bench was pleased to direct that in the event any untoward incident occurred or is apprehended by the petitioner he would be at liberty to call up the Officer-in-Charge of the local police station who shall act in accordance with law.

Petitioner has informed the police station but the plea taken up by the police authorities was that the complaint has not been signed by the petitioner, neither the petitioner has approached the police station physically.

Learned advocate appearing for the respondent no.10 disputes and denies the accusations earlier made in the writ petition and submits that the manner in which

the information have been furnished and acted upon by the police authorities are not in consonance with the provisions of law.

In view of the earlier order there is no impediment for the petitioner to approach the police station as the police authorities are ready to act upon the information furnished but only awaiting signatures of the petitioner in the complaint.

Accordingly, I direct that if the petitioner makes himself physically available or is in touch with the Officerin-Charge of the local police as directed earlier on 03.10.2023, the police authorities will act on the complaint filed after the same is signed by him. With the aforesaid observations WPA 2050 of 2024 is disposed of.

All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
