This writ petition is disposed of with a direction upon the District Panchyat & Rural Development Officer to intimate the petitioner the result of the recruitment process which was held pursuant to the Employment Notification No. 1171/P&RD dated 26.07.2016.

The petitioner claims to have qualified at the written examination as also at the viva voce and computer test. The petitioner submits that he applied for the post of "Samiti Education Officer" as a member of the Scheduled Caste community.

The allegation is that the result of such recruitment process was not published and the petitioner does not know the fate of such process till date.

The authority shall intimate the petitioner whether the recruitment process initiated by the Employment Notification No. 1171/P&RD dated 26.07.2016, had been finalized and whether appointments were given upon

completion of the recruitment process or not. Such intimation shall reach the petitioner within a period of eight weeks from the date of communication of this order. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of. However, there will be no order as to costs.

All the parties are directed to act on the basis of the server copy of this order.
