Report submitted by the learned advocate appearing for the State be also kept with the record.

Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody for 2 years 2 months and in spite of earlier representing before this Court on 12.09.2025 in CRM (M) 790 of 2025, no witness has been examined subsequent to such date.

Learned advocate appearing for the State, on the other hand, opposes the prayer for bail.

I have taken into account the manner in which witnesses are being produced before the Trial Court and the

progress of the case since the directions were passed by this Hon'ble Court on 12.09.2025. The next dates, as reflected from the ordersheets of the Trial Court, are on 22.04.2026 and 23.04.2026. From 22.04.2026, it is directed that within sixty days, the prosecution, as a last chance, is granted opportunity to complete evidence of all the witnesses. In case the prosecution is unable to complete the evidence of rest of the witnesses, learned Trial Court will release the petitioner on bail subject to the condition that the petitioner cooperates in the day-to-day progress of the trial before the learned Trial Court.

With the aforesaid directions, the application for bail, being CRM (M) 292 of 2026, is disposed of.

All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
